Thanks for your interest in and support of Wilkes Habitat for Humanity. It is our mission to work toward eliminating substandard housing. Wilkes Habitat is continuing an ongoing mission and is on the verge of opening a new aspect of its mission. We are starting the final phase of construction of a new Habitat house and opening a ReStore.

We need your help and commitment to make the construction of our next house and the ReStore a success. You can help by praying for our efforts, recruiting additional volunteers, and by signing up for a work shift.
How do I sign up?
- Go to the ReStore and sign up shift in checkout, customer service or another job
- Email Gary Newman to signup to volunteer to work on the Habitat house
The Restore will be open Wednesday through Friday 10AM to 6PM and Saturday 8AM til 1PM. ReStore volunteers are needed now Tuesday – Saturday starting at 8:30 to prepare the store for an August 1 soft opening. We are also seeking volunteer commitments for four or more hour shifts starting Friday August 1 which will be our soft opening.
One other piece of Wilkes Habitat news is that our office will be moving from the United Way building to ReStore building as of 8/1/08. Come by to visit and come by to volunteer for one of these exciting opportunities.
