Completed applications will be accepted from February 1st through February 29th, 2012.

In order to qualify to purchase a Habitat home, partner families and individuals must have a need for adequate housing, must meet income guidelines, and must have the ability to make a monthly mortgage payment. Homebuyers must also partner with Habitat by contributing “sweat equity” hours during home construction, and by completing homeownership and financial management courses.

During this application period, Wilkes Habitat will be selecting 2 separate partner families/individuals to purchase homes to be located on Beaver Dam Lane in North Wilkesboro. The homes each have 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, and are located in the North Wilkes school district.

Application forms are available at our offices at 320 Cothren Street in Wilkesboro, which are located in the lobby of the Habitat ReStore. Applications can also be downloaded online and printed here: Preliminary Application Side 1 and Preliminary Application Side 2.
